innovaphone has now released its new software version V13, which combines the IP Telephony and Unified Communications solution, innovaphone PBX, with the new myApps platform to create a comprehensive, modern work and communications environment for businesses.

The myApps communications client extends the innovaphone solution by adding a multitude of applications that make communication and working in teams even easier while increasing efficiency. And that's not all – it has never been easier or more convenient to install, configure and extend the solution as new apps are constantly being developed.

Creativity and mobility, working in cross-generational and transnational teams and the disappearance of the boundaries between work and leisure will be key issues in our future working lives. With myApps for communication, myApps for work, myApps for administrators and myApps for developers, innovaphone has developed an overall concept that covers all essential aspects of modern working life – the keyword being “Digital Workplace”.

myApps is a framework that is based entirely on web technology and that feels like a mobile operating system. Telephony, chat, application sharing, video, fax, voicemail or presence status of colleagues - no matter which user interface is used to access myApps, whether from a smartphone, tablet or Windows PC - myApps always has the same look and feel, and is easy and intuitive to use.

Administrators also benefit from the new working environment: for example, setting up and integrating new employees as well as completing a large number of tasks concerning installation, maintenance and configuration. The fully open and extendable myApps platform architecture provides the developer community with all the resources needed to develop 3rd party apps. These can also be marketed in the innovaphone App Store on request.
